Our Story
How We Got Started
In 2021, Iris McKenney, our founder and now NYC art modeling legend, put out a call to art models in the Delaware Valley region to come together for a social meeting on one of the Bok building's roofs. A handful of models, including Iris, decided to go for a drink after and continued to socialize, unknowingly forming what is now the DVAM board of founding members: Danny Ramirez, Dan Williams, Emilia Reynolds, Kelly Steltz, and Laura Nelsen.
Since then, DVAM has been establishing work standards, detailing models’ rights, holding monthly events to bring our modeling community together, loving each other and supporting one another along the way.
Our Mission
DVAM MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide leadership, present resources, and advocate for art models and interested individuals using figurative art to catalyze inclusion, progressive thinking, and professionalism.

Our Organizers
The Delaware Valley Art Models community is run an organized by founding members Danny Ramirez, Dan Williams, Emilia Reynolds, Kelly Steltz, and Laura Nelsen, who volunteer their time organizing running our social gatherings, our monthly drink and draw, maintaining the IG and website, monitoring the Discord server, e-mail, and compiling/sharing job opportunities.
